Garth was the Finest Student at the Academy, and the finest Starship Captain. He was the Prototype, a model for the rest of the Captain. It was a Great responsibility, one he was proud to bear, and he Boar it well.

Fleet Captain Garth is Famous for Charting more worlds then any Man in History.

Garth was also our greatest Warrior. When War was Necessary he was the best. His Victory at Axinar around EE15 is still Required Reading at the Academy. After that a Peace Mission was sent to this world.

Captain Garth had Contracted a disease, in an accident, that was destroying his body. The Crew had learned of the Benevolent people of Antos 4. Maimed and Dieing the people of Antos 4 Taught Garth a Technique of Cellular Metamorphosis to repair the damaged parts of his body.

Although his body was repaired, Garth was Driven Mad by the disease. He offered the people of Antos the galaxy and they refused.  So when he got back to his ship he ordered his crew destroy Antos. The Crew relieved him of Command, and it was decide he was to dangerous, so they had to Lock him up on Elba II. 

Appended Report, using the technique he Learned on Antos 4 Garth was able to learn a way of changing his body to any form he wished. Using this power he took over Elba II, and almost took over the Enterprise with it. See Elba II for Further Information.
