Yonada Event:

In late EE34, the Asteroid Yonada Entered the Daran system. Having Locked onto the USS Enterprise, fires primitive chemical rockets at the ship. After destroying the Missiles, the Enterprise goes to the point of origin in the Daran System.

The Enterprise determined that this Asteroid was heading on an independent course through this system. it was correcting for gravitational forces in the system. Further investigation had determined the ship was launched from the Fabrini Worlds, 10,000 years ago.

the course was as such that it would have collided with Daran 5 in 396 days from the discovery. The Crew found that there was a weakness in one of Yonada's 8 engine Tubes. After the course was corrected the Yonada Asteroid was to arrive at a different planet in the Daran system in 390 days.
